INTERNS
The AKU (EA) Faculty of Arts and Sciences (FAS) team is defining the Principal Campus’ Academic Plan, an undertaking that involves several processes. The team is fully and interactively involved with the design and development processes that will result in the establishment of a leading liberal arts education institution for the region in Arusha, Tanzania.
To this end, the FAS is now recruiting FAS INTERNS, ACADEMIC PLANNING from Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania who will become a part of the FAS’s planning processes. The position is available immediately. You are encouraged to inform all who qualify to apply.

Position Summary:
Reporting to the Head of Academic Planning (FAS EA) or designate, the Intern will be situated at the centre of a creative venture of a team of academics and intellectuals involved in the design of an innovative, interdisciplinary program of undergraduate study.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organise meetings and events on behalf of FAS;

• Assist staff in the design, execution and evaluation of research projects, including literature reviews, surveys, focus groups, data integration and analysis;

• Support the FAS work teams and consultants to solve a range of practical problems that normally face a start-up operation.

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in the Sciences or Humanities;

• At least one (1) year of experience;

• Enthusiastic and intellectual individuals, with a willingness to learn and excel;
